Pamela Pecs Cytron
President and Chief Executive Officer
Pendo Systems originated from Ms. Pecs Cytron’s acquisition of the BasisPoint system.
Ms. Pecs Cytron has 21 years of experience within the financial service software market.
Previously Ms. Pecs Cytron was Executive Vice President of DST International in North America,
responsible for overseeing sales and operational efforts in North and South America, and for
expanding DSTi’s presence in those markets. Ms. Pecs Cytron joined DST in early 2004 from
SunGard’s Front Capital Systems, where she was Managing Director of the Americas. She also
served as Executive Vice President of Sales and General Manager of The America’s at Netik.com.
Ms. Pecs Cytron began her career in software telemarketing for SunGard, and then held various
sales and sales management positions at SS&C Technologies and Princeton Financial.
Ms. Pecs Cytron’s financial services industry experience includes successfully growing companies
from start-up through to operational efficiencies while consistently increasing revenue.
Her special expertise includes a clear vision of tracking technologies used to serve the
financial services industry, developing sales strategies to meet the industry’s demands
while keeping her focus on providing the ultimate customer experience.
Samuel Eckelmann
Executive Vice President
Sam Eckelmann has more than 25 years of experience in operations, consulting and
software development in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Pendo
Systems, he was President of efSolutions, a software company that offered a suite
of software applications including BasisPoint. Mr. Eckelmann was previously a Managing
Partner with E/W Group, a consulting firm he founded and led since 1991. With a
background in capital markets and investment accounting systems, he performed numerous
engagements for many top financial services firms and service providers. Mr. Eckelmann
previously was a Managing Director at SS&C Technologies where he was responsible
for directing the ongoing development and maintenance of the Camra™ investment accounting
system. Prior to that, he was the Assistant Director of Compliance at Advest Inc.,
and the Director of Trading and Operations for J.S. Barr & Co. Mr. Eckelmann is
a qualified securities broker and NASD Principal, and holds a degree in economics
from Cornell University.
Kaj Pedersen
Chief Operating Officer
Kaj Pedersen has an extensive technical and financial industry background. Previously,
Mr. Pedersen led the IT Group for Cascade Investment where he was responsible for
implementing and managing its IT strategy, operational infrastructure and security
services. Prior to Cascade Investment, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Urbana
Software, a San Francisco-based startup that developed a proprietary educational
learning software testing system called PerTest. Before joining Urbana, Mr. Pedersen
was vice president and general manager for Terra Lycos' finance unit, Quote.com.
He also held roles as Director of Investment Information Systems for GT Global,
information systems network co-coordinator for Cargill Financial Markets, and various
programming roles at Eagle Star Insurance and British Coal. Mr. Pedersen graduated
with honors in computer science from The University of Wolverhampton and holds an
M.B.A. in global management from the University of Phoenix. He is a Chartered Engineer
with the Engineering Council and a Chartered Member of the British Computer Society.
Teri L. Henry
Vice President of Product Development
Teri Henry has more than ten years of experience in operations and consulting for
the financial services industry. She combines extensive project management, systems
implementation and analytic skills with broad-based domestic and international equity,
fixed income, asset backed, repo and reverse, and derivative exposure to support
business initiatives for investment advisors, insurance companies, banks, and corporate
treasuries. Previously, she worked for E/W Group where she played a significant
role in the development of BasisPoint. She also served in several management positions
and was responsible for client services and product development. Ms. Henry also
served as Vice President, Technology for Prime Advisors, Inc., Senior Manager of
Investment Accounting for Jackson National Life Insurance Company, Delta Dental
Plan of MI, General Electric, and various roles for SS&C Technologies, Inc. which
culminated in her role as Vice President, Client Services. She holds a B.A. in Finance
from Michigan State University and is a Certified Management Accountant, Certified
in Financial Management, and a Chartered Financial Analyst. Ms. Henry also is a
graduate of GE’s Financial Management Program.
Curtis Paris
Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Paris has more than 15 years of software development, architecture and management
experience, focusing on Internet and Financial Data technologies. He has proven
experience designing highly robust and scalable software and database solutions.
Most recently, Mr. Paris was with Shopping.com, a division of eBay, leading the
re-architecting of their API services. Previously, he was with Metro One Telecommunications,
where he was the Lead Architect for their Web and Message Queue systems. Mr. Paris
also spent time at Quote.com, where he was in charge of Web Architecture, helping
grow the company’s infrastructure to become a model for Microsoft’s DNA technologies
and it was subject of a Microsoft case study. The Quote.com architectural work became
the foundation for the new web architecture adopted by Lycos in 2000. Mr. Paris
studied in electronics engineering and computer science, and he is an Instrument
Rated Private Pilot.
